How To Make Peanut Butter At Home

Do you love peanut butter?? If yes then here is the good news. Do you know that you can make your own peanut butter at home? Yes, you can and let me tell you that it tastes yum. Another good news is that you can keep it for a while in the refrigerator. I love my homemade peanut butter and always make it in small batches.

Ingredients

        Peanuts- 1 cup

        Refined oil- 1 tsp ( I use Rice Bran oil)

        Sugar- ½ tsp

        Salt- ¼ tsp

 Method:

     Roast peanuts in a dry hot kadhai or frying pan. No oil is to be added.

    Let them cool down a bit and then keeping inside a kitchen cloth rub well to remove brown shield of peanuts.

    Add all the ingredients in a grinder and grind it till you get a buttery consistency. Keep inching in between for getting added fluffiness.

 Remove the contents and store in a dry airtight container.

    If you like a little crunchy peanut butter then keep a portion aside before it gets too creamy and mix later with the creamy butter.

 Now you can relish this with your toast or have a spoon of it whenever you feel like. Making this at home is definitely a lot cheaper and the goodness of peanuts is not lost in processing.

PS. If you are off sugar, then in place of sugar add Stevia or any zero carb /calorie sweetener.
